Kung Fu Panda – A spectacular animation movie |

Before watching the movie i’ve heard great opinions about it(that pushed me to watch ti and i don’t regret it at all!). This movie was so great that i never saw an animation movie with a such great story line and concept in my life. Kung Fu Panda took over Surf’s Up’s nO.1 place in my animation movies toplist.
Everything in this movie is simply…perfect! The voices, the characters, the story line, the personality of the characters,EVERYTHING! Yeah i know that i’m not a kid anymore, but what i want to say is that this movie completely relaxed me. I started watching it at like 11PM and when the movie was over i looked at the clock and couldn’t believe that 1,5 hours have already passed.
The movie begins with a good old cartoon style, at first i thought that i downloaded the wrong movie knowing that the movie was an animation movie and not a cartoon. Only after 5 minutes have passed i found out that the cartoon represented Po(the panda)’s dream.
The whole story line is based on the scroll of the dragon warrior, the importance of belief and the battle between good and evil.
Po is accidentaly chosen by Oogway and this means that he is the long awaited legendary dragon warrior. Shifu tries to train him, but with no success, until he finds out that what Po really loves is food. Using this he trains him and in the end of the movie Po(thanks to his fatness) defeats the evil Tai Lung and makes his father(who is a goat) proud without selling any noodles!
This is a great movie for any age, so if it’s running in a theatre near you you should go and watch it and you will go home with a smile on your face

Prison Break S04E08 and Heroes S03E06 TV Series reviews |
Starting from now i will post up the Heroes and Prison Break new episode reviews together, the next day after they run on TV. Today is an exception, because yesterday I just didn’t have the time to post.
Prison Break S04E08
Last week there wasn’t an episode, so Prison Break continued this week.
All they needed was one more card, the General’s card, so Lincoln remembers a theft he made back in the days. They did the heist by smashing the victom’s car with their American Muscle car, by this way knocking the victim unconscious.
Scofield approves and they set the positions: Sarah and Scofield in the ambulance, Lincoln and Sucre in the American Muscle car, Mahone stays alone waiting for the General to leave. Sarah will have the job to pump morphine in him, by this way the General won’t remember anything the next day.
Oh! Did i mention an ambulance? They have to steal an ambulance from a federal inpound and here Self will help them by distracting the guard.
Sarah goes to meet Gretchen at a hotel, where they “clear the air”(watch the episode and you’ll find out more)
They set the route and because Roland lost his “magical” device he is early retired by Scofield, in other means grounded. In this time he makes a deal with Wyatt(the general’s assasin) to give him Scofield and Burrows. He tells him Scofield’s plan and by this way the attack on the General fails.
Roland goes to Meet Wyatt who shoots him in both legs and after Roland reveals the location of Scofield he kills him. This time Mahone gets him with the crowbar from the back, but he is held down by Burrows, and they take Wyatt as a prisoner.
Heroes S03E06
The epic saga continues!
The prvious episode ended with the scene where Hiro killed Ando with the sword to prove that he’s evil. In the first scene from this episode we will find out that Hiro went back in the past, switched the real sword with a dummy sword and gives Ando a pack of gelatine(i think) and tells him to put it in his shirt because in a few minutes he will stab him.
Daphne gives the assignment to Hiro, which is to find and kidnap the african guy who sees the furure. After Daphne and the other villain leave Ando gets up and Hiro teleports both of them to Africa. Hiro thinks he can outsmart the African guy, but gets slammed on the head with the shovel, TWICE! Only after he waits for the African guy to come back he finds out that using his head rather than his powers is more effcient and that it was just a test.
The African guy shows him the Villains to whom Hiro has to bring him to, and tells Hiro to choose his path.
Parkman finds Daphne and talks to her, he explains the dream he had. Daphne considers him a good guy and he tells him to stay away from the evil company.
Nathan takes Tracy to Suresh hoping that he can help them, but suresh tries to kill them, but luckaly thanks to Tracy the get away.
Sylar and Peter have a harsh fight, Peter wins and straps Sylar to a bed and puts him asleep using some drugs. After this he goes to the Company where he sees his father(who btw recovered by absorbing all of Adam Monroe’s powers). His father will hug him and take all his powers.
Claire with her step-mother helps her real mother get away from that psychopat, and Noah will strap him up.
The group of villains is almost complete and it is yet to see if the Visions of the African guy will come true or not.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Movie review |
The ’80’s are over. Over long ago. If i would meet Steven Spielberg most probably this would be my starting line. This movie puts the R in retro, most probaly this was the whole idea, but i don’t think us youg people enjoy lame old-school movies.
The whole movie recreates that old feeling which is made by the previous parts of the movie, except that Harrison Ford is old, but in the movie he still beats up a whole russian army, so he must be in a really good shape.
The story-line is pretty good, but the way in which the movie is directed and the scenes and elements have a huge lack of 21xt century addons(except the explosions).
I’ve seen movies which present the 40’s and 50’s and they were 100% better, although they didn’t have a such great story line. Spielberg dissapointed me on this one. I have absolutely no idea how it got such a good rating over at IMDB.
I watched it because i saw the previous parts and i expected something formidable this time, after about 19 years. Technology in the ilming industry also evolves.
Either way, my take is that i wasted my money on the cinema ticket and too bad i can’t yell GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

Felon – Not your ordinary prison movie |
Trust me on this, this movie WILL SHAKE YOUR BONES! It isn’t the ordinary prison movie where a guy goes to prison and all the guards are with him and he gets out for some ass kissing. This movie is the real deal where the harsh life of newcome prisoners is presented and their survival.
The whole movie’s action is around Wade Porter(Stephen Dorff) who protecting his family accidentally killed a burgler with the baseball bat. He gets convicted for 3 years. On the bus a bigshot, Danny Samson kills a prisoner and one of his supporting underlings snatches the knife at Porter. Porter gets questioned by the guards but doesn’t admit that Samson killed the prisoner claiming he found the shanker below his seat on the bus.
For this he goes to the shoe, where every day he gets one hour in the yard, the rest: solitary. After a while he’s back to A BLOCK the regular prison cells section and he gets as cellmate John Smith(Val Kilmer) a guy who killed 14 men. He will later find out that the men who Smith killed were the relatives of the 2 burglers who broke into his house and raped and killed his wife and daughter. He made them feel just the way he did when he found his wife and daughter dead on the floor.
Porter notices that no one is picking on Smith and gets him to teach him the techniques of survival, which according to Smith is routine:“you get up, drink your coffee, go work out, just like at home” . The guards like watching the cons fight in the yard and they delete the tapes every time. For not testifying against Samson a chief guard, Lt. Jackson gets Porter prosecuted as an accomplice with Samson in the murder of that guy on the bus, by this way Porter gets extra 6 years.
Smith has a friend outside from the FBI who’s life he once saved, he gets Porter to get his wife to talk to him so they can grab the tapes from the yard before the guards delete them. The guards will shoot Smith, who will now be with his wife and daughter and die in glory. Porter gets released and united with his family.
The end. Of course there are many details which i didn’t include in this post, i didn’t want to spoil the whole movie. If this review got your attention watch the movie, because it’s worh it.

Hell Ride movie review |
The whole movie is about 2 rival biker gangs, sex, drugs and a conflict that started in 1976. Hell Ride is in my opinion one of Quentin Tarantino’s best movies (grindhouse was crap). I mostly wanted to watch this movie because Michael Madsen plays a front role and yeah, i didn’t regret watching the movie.
In 1976 an indian woman named Cherokee Kisum is murdered and set on fire by the SIX SIX SIX gang. Her small boy sees this. Postilero, one of the Victors(biker gang) was in love with Cherokee who asked him to safekeep “the treasure” for her son if something happens to her. Pistolero will keep his promise and he recruits in his gang BIX( Cherokee’s son) and he will keep his promise. The movie will end with BIX getting his treasure and The Gent, Pistolero and BIX going on 3 sepparate ways.
Jumping back to the main action of the movie: The Victors gang is ruling the streets with the lead of Pistolero. They kill and get lots of booties, well thats mostly what they live for.
One day the SIX SIX SIX gang comes back led by Billy Wings and The Deuce. They start ravaging stuff, and killing members of the Victors. Many of the Victors want to turn and join the SIX SIX SIX gang and kill the Victors, but pistolero figures it out and kills them all.
In the final battle BIX cuts The Deuce’s head off and Pistolero cuts Billy Wings neck and sets him on fire. Bix gets his treasure and all 3 of them go on sepparate ways.
I liked this movie becuase it had lots of funny moments(mostly the fight in the bar), so i recommend this movie to everyone above the age of 16(contains nudity and sex scenes).

Prison Break Season 4 is ON! |
HELL YEAH! I watched today the first 3 episodes from the 4th season and damn…they are just as addicting as the previous ones. You have no idea how good i felt while watching it, it’s like a drug after a long period of abstinence.
Along with the start of the 4th season Prison Break has a new poster(which you can see on the left and enlarge it by clicking the small image) and a new generic.
The 4th season is all about getting Scylla, the black book of the organization which is made of 6 cards which contain equal segments of the data which will have to be decrypted.
You will find out that dr. Sarah Tancredi didn’t get killed, this meaning that she’s back in the game along with Lincoln Burrows, Sucre, Bellick, Mahone and a new chinese tech guy.
You will also see that Michael will get a part of his tatoos removed in order to blend in better and avoid recognition.
T-Bag is still out and he has the bird book which contains info on how to break into the organizations building and decrypt the codes, this means that Michael has to find them.
uuu…i can’t wait for the next episode to go live! Oh and one more thing: the next heroes episode is also close to its release date!

Banlieue 13 – A spectacular Movie |
I don’t know, but for some reason so far every french movie that i saw was on my taste, most probably it’s because of the action/humor combination.
The main actors in this movie are David Belle (the father of Parkour) and Cyril Raffaelli, the movie featuring lots of parkour scenes(parkour is deifned by finding the fastest way from point A to point B.
I’m a big parkour fan myself, know a few jumps, turst me if you don’t warm up properly before doing it and if you don’t know how to roll your literarely screwed.
Anyway, getting back to the movie:
Banlieue 13 is a suburb a some city where gangs rule the streets without police or schools. A wall is separating the suburb from the city.
Leïto (David Belle) gets broken out of prison by Capt. Damien Tomaso(Cyril Raffaelli) who claims to be a villain, but fails to convice Leito of this and the truth comes to the surface: he’s a police officer who was sent to retrieve and dissarm a bomb that will explode in 24 hours.
They work together and let themselves captured by Taha(a notorious villain) and they try to retrieve the bomb. After lots and lots of action scenes they get to the bomb.
When Damien tells Leito the defuse code(which is the current date and the name of the suburb – B13) Leito finds it suspicious and does anything in his power to avoid Damien to insert the code. Damien fights back still thinking thats its a dissarming code and not an arming one. Leito’s sister stops damien from entering the last digit and what do you know? the bomb doesn’t explode.
Damien and Leito grab the bomb and take it to the Colonel’s office and they start entering the digits, the colonel foolishly confesses everything with pride saying that suburb has to dissappear. This is recorded on video and broadcasted on all channels for the people to see what powerful people want to do, kill millions of people.
Leito and his sister return to Banlieue 13 and Damien promises he will go visit them.
An other thing that i really liked about the movie was the soundtrack, you can listen to the soundtrack and watch a trailer of the movie below:

Done With all 5 seasons of Alias (tv series) |

For the past month I was an Alias addict, I downloaded all 5 seasons and watched all 105 episodes from start to end.
To be honest the first and the fourth series were the most exciting ones, the other series were a bit boring, also a very annoying thing was that someone died and a few episodes later popped back again(a good example is Irina Derevko and Vaughn, well mostly Vaughn in whom they emptied almost a full clip of an automated weapon and he surived(he didn’t have kevlar(anti bullet vest) on him).
Starting with the second seaosn Alias mostly got oriented to SCI-FI starting with the scene when the name Milo Rambaldi popped in. Rambaldi was a 15th centuri prophet who saw and wrote the future, and in his writings he described Sydney as the chosen one who will bring destruction upon the world. 3 seasons pass with the pursuit of Rambaldi artefacts, people die, people reviwe, new people show up in the movie.
Here’s my favorite scene from the whole movie(the end of 4th season):
Now this is an ending which requires the next episode, which i watched.
The 5th season has only 17 episodes and it ends with the death of Jack and the immortality of slone who is capped beneath the rocks, and has to stay there for eternity. Vaughn and Sydney have an other kid who’s name is Jack(symbolic). Their daughter, Isabelle is about 4-5 years old and she builds that IQ level measurement structure which Sydney also built once in her childhood.
The movie ends with the scene in which Dixon visits the Vaughn family at their beach house and asks them help for a new mission.
The End.

The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor Movie review |
Well…to be honest this isn’t what I expected, and to get straight to the point the movie sucked.
The most annoying thing was the poor way the animation scenes were made, you could clearly see that it’s 3d and not even close to real(c’mon I saw better animation scenes in movies from the ’90’s).
To be honest I only watched the movie because I really like Brendan Fraser, he always knows how to act and be ironic all the time. Jet Li didn’t have many performances in the movie, because in 3/4 of the movie his character was made on the computer.
I really liked the way the Yeti looked, you can notice the smoothness of the textures and that the animation/design is from 21st century, not like the other poor animations.
Overall the movie compared to the other 2 episodes from the series blows. The runtime is about 1:45 hours and trust me you already get bored in the first 15 minutes, the yeti scenes wake you up after which you can sleep comfortably till the movie reaches the last 5 minutes. It’s like a soap opera:it’s enough to see the beginning and the end of the movie.
Here’s the outline of the movie:
Alex O’Connellthe son of Rick O’Connell finds the mummy of the first Emperor of Qin and digs him out. Emperor Han was cursed 2000 years ago by a powerful sorcerer A Chinese general awakes Emperor Han using a magical item(i can’t remember its name) and so the quest of getting to the magical place named Shangri where the emperor can get back his powers and raise his huge army.
Shangri is located in the Himalayas where our heroes are helped by the yetis, but still Emperor Han gets to Shangri and regains his power after which he transforms into a 3 headed dragon and flies back to his grave where he raises his army.
The sorcerer sacrifices her and her daughter’s immortality to raise those who were buried by Emperor Han under the Great Wall Of China. While the 2 mummy armies are fighting each other Our heroes kill the emperor,by this way destroying the mummy army of the emperor.
They return to Jonathan’s bar where they celebrate. Jonathan leaves to “a place where there aren’t any mummies”, in Peru to be more precise along with the magical diamond which awakened the Emperor. In the end of the movie a text pops up saying: “A few years later they found mummies in Peru” or something like that.
The end.
My suggestion is that unless your a kid who’s dying to watch the movie don’t buy cinema tickets, because you’ll regret it in the end, just go and watch an other movie.

The Dark Knight |
WOW! I saw this movie on the weekend. I am not a real big Batman fan but this is a great movie and probably the best of the series. Heath Ledger made an excellent Joker with his funny jokes, insanity and just the darkness of his character that wasn’t shown in Jack Nicholson’s version of the Joker. Everyone knew that Ledger was behind the makeup but he did such a good job of acting as the Joker, you really thought it was someone completely different then Ledger. IMO it is Ledgers best work and unfortunately its was his last. One of my favorite parts of the movie was towards the beginning and it shows how dark this Joker is, he went into a room that was filled with mobsters, drug lords and other hooligans who were having a meeting. He was playing with a pen on the table and said “How about a magic trick? I’m going to make this pen disappear.” He grabbed one of the hooligans and slammed his head right onto the pen, therefore it disappeared and yes it was magic. lol It was evil yet funny at the same time. All I wanted to do was watch the Joker and forget about what Batman was doing cause the Joker was that much more interesting. Christian Bale did a good job as being Batman but the only thing that kind of bothered me was his voice when he was Batman, it was a little too raspy like he was forcing it. Overall it is a fun movie to watch and even Batman was a little darker then the rest of the movies in the series. If you haven’t seen it yet and like Batman or action flicks then go and see it, you won‘t be disappointed.
