Alien Shooter Review

Alien shooter is a PC Game made by Sigma Team. Its price is $17.95.

Pros:
Good graphics, charcater is easy to control, the textures are prtty refined, big variety of weapons and supplies.

Cons:
Max resolution is 1024×768(32 bits)…what will a guy do who has a 21″ monitor? or those who have widescreen LCD’s? The alien’s don’t strife and don’t avoid bullets, they just come straight at you.

Review:The installer of the game(demo) has 5,9MB, the game installed has 13,8mb(14,6mb size on disk). In the category of lightweight games it gets 5stars in size-graphics ratio.

The load time of the game is very fast and that is a big +.

Lets start up the game…where’s the intro? a short movie that would make the player curious is missing, it just puts you to main menu.

There are two play modes:
Campaign:go on a mission to eradicate all aliens
Survive:kill all the aliens in the big room, and test out your strenght and endurance.

High score tracking is a pretty cool feature for those who like to get their friends to play on your pc and see who is the best.

When you strife using the keyboard only your legs turn, the character looks like his legs are broken.

If you egt an alien to follow you, and there is a bigger piece of wall next to the door the alien won’t be able to find the door, he will stop facing the wall and waiting for you to come out so he can find you.

The variety of weapons is impressive and the weapon shop was a really good idea, this way the player will learn to gather all possible resources.

Get a fully loaded weapon and never recharge…this is very unrealistic, the lack of the weapon recharge feature is a BIG – to the game.

Conclusion:Its a pretty cool game mostly for the arcade game lovers, the price is pretty high for a game of this type. It isn’t very addictive but it will surely keep you in front of the pc for some time.

Arcade websites keep getting more and more popular

Its strange how many people prefer spending their spare time playing flash games on arcade websites than playing a regular pc game. I am not talking only about youngsters here(below age of 18) but about every age category. Flash games are beginning to get more and more addictive and attractive, they offer a better relaxation time and comfort for everyone. On an arcade website you can select what kind of game to play(action/sports etc) so you are not forced to play a specific game that is installed on your pc although you don’t have the mood to play it. IFlash games have evolved extremely much in the past years, their graphics and structure and mostly their gameplay has advanced A LOT! Honestly to tell you most of the times i prefer to play an arcade flash game than to play counter strike or dotA(im extremely bored of them). Just as usual PC games arcade games can really get addicting also, damn there was an arcade game…i forgot its name but it was a space type of game where you had to destroy alien ships in space and get better and better upgrades for your ship….i remember i played it about 3 hours till i finished the whole game, damn i started it over about 9 times but still i didn’t want to give up, i felt the need to finish it, and you can’t imagine how satisfied i was after i finished it, i was just like a small kid who eventually gets candy(lol).

So take this as an advice: when someone tells you that you are acting childish for playing flash games just tell him straight: other 1 billion people do the same!
