On many webmaster forums there’s a topic regarding the payment delay for some publishers who selected western union as a payment option. This category includes me also, and it doesn’t quite suite me to wait after google to get the payment, but there isn’t anything that i can do.

If you are facing this problem then you will have an alert message in your adsense account saying::

Your payments are currently on hold. Action is required to release payment. Click here for details.

At first i taught i set my payments on hold, but after following the link from the notification i found out that the problem didn’t occur because of me, but because the mess-up Google made.

Required Action:
Deposit payment technical error - Please contact AdSense Support.

So what the heck, i sent them an email and in matter of one week i got the same reply that many other publishers who mailed them regarding this issue got:

Hello,

We wish to inform you that your April AdSense Western Union
payment has been unexpectedly delayed due to a technical error.

During this time, you may see the following messaging in your
account: “Deposit payment technical error - Please contact AdSense
Support.” Please be assured that there is no need to contact us as
we are working hard to resolve this issue. We’ll be sure to
provide you with more information soon.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience
and understanding.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding. WTF? my payments are delayed more than 2 weeks and i have to understand them and stay calm. This is absurd!

DareDevils also got a reply to his mail, but its unprofessional and gives you the feeling that some of the employees at the adsense team have no idea what’s going on.

The bottom line is that there’s nothing we can do but wait and see the outcome. Let’s hope google won’t make a habit out of this.

As usual i was checking the DigitalPoint forums with a cup of coffee in one of my hand this morning. As i mentioned in previous posts i only check the Buy/Sell/Trade section.

When i got to the link exchange forums the thread title immediately got my attention(i had a feeling it will be something stupid) - Looking for google exchange click

Here’s what the thread starter wrote: 

Are you interested in exchanging a few clicks for adsense? Only 1-2 clicks spread through out the day, and only once every few days.

I realize this is against the Adsense TOS, but i’ve been getting alot of clicks, and 0 earnings from them.

The best method i’ve found is to search for a term from google.com and then visit our sites and click an ad. Please only do 1-2 daily and spread though out the day for best results.

If you’re interested, please reply / pm me with what i should search for, and what site to visit.

I mostly laughed because he admitted that he knows what he wants to do is against Adsense T.O.S  but he still wants to do it.

You got to be either stupid or willing to give up your adsense account to post a thread like this, especially if you would post your URL.

Although it seems that he found some click exchange partners, some people are really desperate to make a few cents without thinking of the consequences or alternatives which could help them make money from their sites.

This is a heads up for every one who tried/is doing/wants to do click exchanges. Google can easily determine if the clicks are legit or not. And if it turns out that the clicks are not legit they won’t hesitate to close your account.

Don’t be stupid! The whole world knows you can’t get rich over night.

It seems that the google adsense team ddin’t stop at adsense refferals beta and some extra features and continues to upgrade and tune-up adsense.

This feature is really cool, it allows the visitor to see extra ads by using the arrows. The arrows will make the ads slide and 2 different ads slide in. this AJAX feature is really great and will surely help publishers and also will provide a more appealing ad display to the visitor.

A few days ago my friend Jimmy asked me if there is something unusual with my adsense account, i logged in and checked it and everything was ok. He showed me a screenshot and he had at total pageviews over 300 but when he expanded them at channels it showed a total of 13 pageviews. I was like : “well..maybe you didn’t place in the code correctly or maybe there’s a problem at adsense”

When i logged in today i got the big surprise: At total page impressions i have 1082 but when i expand it to see the channels the total at ALL the channels is 38.

I was extremely happy when i saw that google made it possible to get money trough western union, and with 0% comission. This took the check’s place and i much more faster and you don’t have to wait 2 months to get the cash BUT if you selected “payment trough western union” then your payment will be issued only on 1st of November….damn i really made hopes that i will buy the mobile phone that i want this week…but i guess il have to wait 4 more weeks. But, oh well as the wise elders said it: “Patience is a virtue”

WOOHOO! Now thats what i call improvement, no more waiting for checks to arrive and the necessity to go to cash-in checks! In some countries publishers now have the possibility to receive payments trough western union, they will be able to pick up the money the next day after payment was issued.

Payment trough western union is available in the following countries:

• China (Mainland)
• Malaysia
• Pakistan
• Romania
• Philippines
• Argentina
• Chile
• Peru
• Colombia

If you have a business account due to Western union restrictions you cannot receive payment trough WU.

You will receive payment trough US $(dollars), but you will have the possibility to withdraw the money in your local curency.

+ Most of the people who get this email go mad and start swearing and such even though they didn’t do anything that could have gotten them suspended. They start saying:”stupid adsense staff abnned my account although i didnt do anything”,  “they suck” , “adsense sucks” and they  open www.google.com and search for “adsense alternatives” (quite ironic if you got banned from adsense you still use G )

+In most cases they will sign up either for adbrite either for bidvertiser and start bragging, “f**k adsense im using bidvertiser now, its 100000times much cooler and better” and in about one month or so they realize that they don’t got advertisers, only sucky one and they get 0,05$/click.  By this time they will regret that they didn’t write an email back to adsense staff to make clear that they didn’t do anything wrong and they deserve to be unsuspended.

+Lets hope this won’t happen in your case and lets hope you will never get banned from adsense too :D. BUT if you get banned and you are 100% sure that you didn’t do anything wrong don’t be afraid to email them back to clear the situation. In the email don’t swear, write the email in a chilled and calm attitude, explain the situation, tell them everything about your sites and ad placements, explain that there’s no way that you broke the adsense TOS and most importantly be honest. Honesty is very respected! You will get an email back with an answer where everything will be explained and you have a very good chance(if you we’re honest in the email and you didn’t brake the TOS)

In the past month i noticed that the average price for a click is 0,15$. Well yeah i did filter plenty of websites but believe it or not i still get clicks which bring to my account 0.06-0.09$. This is getting pretty stressing, since i have ads on 4 websites with completely different niches. As soon as i get my check i think i will switch to fastclick or casale media. Imo at google currently the best way to earn is to use the new “refferals 2.0″. But why should i use it when at cj there are way better offers? Till i get my check this will remain a mistery.
