After 24 years Duck Hunt is still fun

Duck Hunt was developed by Nintendo and published in 1984 in Japan. The main goal of the player is to shoot as many ducks as possible. For each round you have 3 bullets. You also have the option to choose 1 or two ducks to appear. The game originally used a  gun shaped joystick which was pointed by the player at the TV screen.

I first played it in umm…i think it was summer ‘96 when i got my first console. This game along with a western shooter game was a big hit back then, because it literarily gave the gun in the player’s hand. Till today i haven’t played it since 1999, that means 10 years without duck hunt!

Today at school i was bored so i started browsing the downloaded stuffs, and stumbled across duck hunt in the flash version. I uploaded it to ftp and a bit below you will see it embedded in the post.

My High-score at school was around 790,000, can you beat that?
(for every flawless round you get 10,000 bonus)
