Welcome to slayer’s blog | Web Design tips & tutorials

I think this is the most amusing and ironic event of the week for me. I got a project in college to do a presentation of one of the Characters from Canterbury tales which was written by Geoffrey Chaucer in the 14th century written in Middle English(which is sort of like german).

Anyway I wanted to be a good student and went down to the City Library(a huge building) where i asked for the book in english. They gave me the book, and when i got home i noticed that its written in Middle English.

At first i blaimed myself but when i went back to ask for a modern english version they told me “no way, you have no chance of finding it” , wtF?! A damn city library doesn’t have a book in modern english  :| Anyway, i got the romanian version which doesn’t help me because i have to insert quotes and write my essay in english.

After googling around i found the Canterbury Tales in modern english version, copy/pasted the General Prologue, The Miller’s prologue and tale(a total number of like 40 A4 Pages) and printed them. For some reason i can’t read stuff like that on a monitor.

Now all i have to do is read it, make a powerpoint presentation and write a 10 page essay(sounds fun doesn’t it?). Good thing that i have one more week to do it.
