Open-Realty is an open source web based real estate listing management application. It is intended to be both easy to setup and use. Written in PHP, Open-Realty is designed to be a fast and flexible tool for your real estate website. Installation

Step 1: Head over to the Open-Realty download center and get the latest release.

Step 2: Upload the files on your web server using a ftp client (e.g. SmartFTP)

Step 3: Make sure that the following files and folders are writable:


../include/common.dist.php
../include
../images/listing_photos
../images/user_photos
../images/vtour_photos
../images/page_upload
../files/listings
../files/users

Step 4: Create a fresh new database name.

Step 5: Go to yoursite.com/install and click install to begin the installation.

Step 6: Read the license and if you agree it click “I agree

Step 7: Choose your language and click submit.

Step 8: Check File Permissions. All Permissions are correct. Click To Continue Installation.

Step 9: Select your installation type and click Submit.

Step 10: Enter your database info and click next.

Database Settings Saved. Continue to setup the database. - Installation is complete. Click here to configure your installation.

Congratulations, you’ve succesfully installed open-realty. Now just enter your e-mail address to have your username and password emailed to you.

    Open Realty is the newest, and in my opinion best, software available to those involved in real estate. If you want to capitalize on all the resources available to realtors, you owe it to yourself to at least try this product out and see the wonders it can do for you!
