So far nothing special happened on saturdays, except bad things a few times, so it seems that today was meant to be a good day. The sun was shining, the weather was unusually hot and almost everyone was in a good mood.

The above factors aren’t the only ones that made today a good day, here are the most important ones:

Got a brand new ASUS DVD WRITER

2 weeks ago i took my DVD writer back to the local store from where i bought it because it didn’t want to write DVDs and they’ve sent it back to their supplier in Bucharest. The guy from the store called me saying that my DVD writer arrived and it would be good if i would go and pick it up and that i shouldn’t forget the warranty paper. I searched like 10 minutes till i found the warranty paper after which i went to the store.

At the store the guy gave me a brand new DVD writer, part of the newer ASUS Lightscribe series and extended the warranty with 12 months. I plugged it in, didn’t have time to try and burn some DVDs, but i’ll get on it tomorrow.

My JINX shirts arrived!

Woohoo!! They arrived pretty fast, it seems that the postal service is getting better(i hope). The crappy thing is that i can’t pick it up only on Tuesday at a special post office where they handle items sent from outside of Romania. As soon as i get my hands on them i’ll try them on and make some pictures(not just for the blog, but for the JINX experience and Gold also!)

Papers came in from the For School Foundation

For School Foundation is a foundation supported by Hungary’s goverment. They offer about 100$ each year for every student who is in junior/senior highschool. because i finished highschool this year i also get money. Hell, it’s free money.

I have to take a look at the data and in case it’s incorrect i have to modify it and send it backto the foundation. So umm…in about 1 month i’ll get the money.

All  the above motivated me today, but there are some things which almost screwed up the day:

The washing machine broke down

Damn it! I fixed it on wednesday, but it broke down again. What else could i expect from a 11 year old washing machine? Either way i’ve made up my mind and decided to buy a new one(saw a good one at promotion). I’ve already withdrawn the required money from my PayPal account, i just have to wait for them to be transferred to my Credit Card.

My neighbour was drilling all day

I’m not talking about Robbie here, the neighbour in my building. I’m talking about the guy in the building right next to ours(3 buildings are merged together, damn comunists, they sucked at doing quality work).

This guy was drilling the wall all day today, and because the wall is concrete he had to use a big drilling machine which made a very loud noise and i was very close to snap and go to his apartment and beat him up to get him to stop. It seems that he read my thoughts or something because he stopped drilling,lol.

Basically if we take the good and bad priciples any day can be a good day if there are more good events than bad events which will motivate us in a positive way and raise our stamina and morale
