Installation

Step 1: Go to the Joomla download page and download the latest release of the software.

Step 2: Extract the files from the archive and upload them on your webserver using a FTP client (e.g.: SmartFTP )

Step 3: Select the language you want to use and click NEXT.

A pre-instalation page check will apear. The page should look like this.

If any of these are marked as NO you should take appropriate actions to correct the errors. Then click NEXT.

Step 4: Read the License carefully and if you agree it click NEXT.

Step 5: Fill in the requested data and click NEXT.

Step 6: Complete the boxes with you FTP username, password and FTP adress, then click NEXT.

Step 7: Complete your site’s Name, your e-mail, and your password.

Click Install sample data, then click NEXT.

That’s it! Congratulations, you’ve succesfully installed Joomla. Remove the instalation folder and your good to go. To administrate your site just go to yoursite.com/administrator/. Good luck!
