Well, actually Yable.net was supposed to be my next big project but due to the crappy template engine(smarty) and the buggy script BETng4U still didn’t finish coding the design I made for it and to implement the features that I want.
What will it be?
Anyway, getting back to Folty which will be a Stylish websites showcase gallery, something like cssremix and all the other showcase websites with css in the domain name. It will run on wordpress and of course Folty will have some unique features implemented(its great to work with a highs killed coder).
The design isn’t made by me, I just spent a day modding it to fit my vision. I bought the design about half year ago on DP, it had some pretty annoying elements and some that needed modding or the lack of required elements, so I spent the whole yesterday modding the design, and at 11 pm it reached its final version(so far) which i’ve sent to BETng4U to code. He will start coding next week, so expect the website to be up by the end of next week/beginning of the week after. The name and the tagline will be trademarked a bit later.
Where did the name come from?
A few months back my doggie had puppies and after they reached 5 weeks in age i had to give them away(they have to stay with their mother for 5 weeks), one dog is more than enough for me. Katie(a girl who got one of the puppies) chose the one which had spots on him and named him Folty. Folt means in hungarian - spot, and Folty is like a petname. Than it hit me and I registered the domain which was available.
More about the features?
Don’t expect something extraordinary at first, features will be added as the gallery will grow, I already built an upcoming feature list which includes a cool wordpress widget to showcase your website on the blog if it’s included in the gallery. At this point I can’t tell you more, features will be announced gradually as the website evolves.
