One of the most pathetic movies that I have seen recently…. Cheap imitation of Indiana Jones. The movie had so much resemblance to the first two parts from the overall plot to the chases, fights etc. I was just wondering what the hell are they trying to pull; the only thing that seemed to have happened by the end of it all was that I was 30 Bucks short and wasted 2hrs of my life.

They've ruined the entire Mummy franchise with every one since the first. The first movie was the only decent one, the second was a little iffy, then The Scorpion King just shoveled it into a hole. Reading up on it in the months coming to it's release, my first impression was, Okay...wow now why is it named The Mummy and not The Samurai? All it is is a money grab because the director (Rob Cohen) hasn't had any work for 3 years and none of the actors have had a blockbuster in a while. Let's be honest, film buffs look at the director and the writers before the cast to see if the film has any promising attributes. Neither of the writers and the director of this film have had any "good" films attached to their names. Guess what I'm trying to say is, you should have known it was going to suck before you even heard of it. :P How could you not expect the film to suck?
