Thaslayer.com just got sitelinks! |
Yay! Today i logged into Google Webmaster tools to check out some stuff around there and I noticed that my blog got sitelinks generated!
What are sitelinks?
Sitelinks are additional links Google sometimes generates from site contents in order to help users navigate your site. Google generates these sitelinks periodically from your site’s contents.

Sitelinks are generated dynamically, so the list can change from time to time.
Thaslayer.com sitelinks
Everything is great and its cool to have sitelinks generated for my blog, but there’s just one small bubu: i tried more than a dozen search queries and can’t get my sitelinks to show up. Weird isn’t it?

Although sitelinks don’t really affect our SERP position it would be cool for them to show up,lol.
Here’s what I don’t get: why does Google consider http://www.thaslayer.com/tag/bitdefender/ important? there’s just one post there. I don’t even want to talk about http://www.thaslayer.com/tag/servage/ and http://www.thaslayer.com/tag/adsense/ because both pages are important(mostly the servage one), really.
Because i don’t consider the page with a short post about bitdefender so important i’ve blocked it from the sitelinks. A new sitelink will be generated in its place.
Either way having sitelinks generated is a positive step for my blog which is slowly, but steadily growing day by day
