Download day will occur on the day when Firefox 3 will be launched. Till then you have the chance to pledge using your email address and you will be among the first to know the date of the official Firefox 3 launch.
Download day is Mozilla’s attempt to set a world record for the most software downloads in 24 hours. The number of downloads on the first day when Firefox 2 was launched was 1.6million, now mozilla aims for 5 million downloads in first day.
You can contribute by pledging, by hosting a firefox party, and if you have a blog by adding promotional banners to your website/blog. Of course you can help by telling your friends also about download day!
