If you own a PC(which you probably do) then you know that the comfort in front of the PC matters a lot and it has influences on your daily gaming/PC usage experience. There’s a BIG difference between sitting down on a comfortable chair in front of a big desk and watch a movie and to sit down on a comfortable chair in front of a small desk where more than 3/4 of the desk is occupied by the Monitor.

My current PC desk is a temporary desk since april last year. Back then i had a cool old table as a desk, but then the furniture set got sold(closet/beds/table/charis) and a new furniture set was bought, without a table ofcourse.

Back then i didn’t have much money so i called up a friend(he is a carpenter) and asked him if he could fix up a table for my pc form pieces that weren’t used. In about 3 days he shows up @ my door with a big package, he opens up the package and assembles the PC desk. As payment he accepted 4 beers at the local bar.

My current PC desk is medium sized, but relatively small for me, so now that i revamped my room and its nice and shiny i decided to get a new desk.

I found a sketch and a preview of a PC desk that i like on sauder furniture website but it didn’t quite fit my needs(sizes and stuff) so i modified the meaurements to fit the space allocated for the new PC desk and printed it.

This time i’ll get a great desk! I already showed the sketch to my friend and we calculated how much the materials cost and how much(ahem…how many beers) he will charge to assemble the desk. As we calculated the overall price will be between $70-$100.

To be honest i can’t wait to get my new desk and get the sufficient room i need to have on my PC desk and not stay crowded as i am now. If everything goes well till the end of next week my new desk will be assembled and it will be put in its place.
