Chameleon Wordpress theme – the great launch!

Before everything i want to wish all of you Merry Christmas with lots of joy(i know its a bit late), gifts and happiness and a happy new year!

On saturday you most probably taught that again problems occurred with the theme and i didn’t notify you about the delay, well nothing serious happened(we got drunk like pigs) , yesterday we fixed a few bugs and i was keeping the release for 25th december as a Christmas Present.

Well, all the drinking caused the delay and a bug that occurred in the last minute which was fixed today.

We worked a LOT on this theme, the basic idea of the theme is to offer bloggers a clean and sleek web 2.0 styled theme with unique and great features.

You will not have any sponsored links in the footer, only a link-back to my blog which i kidnly ask you to keep.

The font i used is a commercial font so i couldn’t include it in the pack, so we made a great tweak: the header image is automatically generated, so no image editing is required, just enter your blog’s title and tagline in your admin control panel.

The comment system is powered by sexy comments along with Karma Addon

The theme is using the Silk Icons Collection

The Theme is 100% compatible with Wordpress v 2.3.1!

Installation of the theme:

The insttalation of the theme is extremely easy and consists in 7 simple steps:

1) Download the zip archive and extract it.

2) Upload the contents of the “upload” folder to “wp-content” folder on your server.

3) Go to your admin panel and at “Presentation” activate the theme.

4) In admin panel at plugins activate Comment Karma and Sexy Comments

5) Add your widgets and enjoy the theme!

6) Bugs are constantly fixed and as bugs are fixed the changelog and the archive is updated.

7) If you want to receive bug fixes and notifications about the the theme check out the sidebar Get Theme Updates! element and enter your email address and subscribe.

    when i loaded theme it didnt worked ;
    because Title generator is not working..

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: str_split() in /home/asitweb/public_html/wp-content/themes/chameleon/functions.php on line 87

    when i remove

    <a href=”">

    from header.php its working normally. Any idea ?

    as said above: you need PHP 5.x to run the theme, php 4 doesn’t have the necessary fix to run the title generator

    Love the theme. Exactly what we were looking for.

    Perhaps I’m missing something, but I can’t seem to get the pages to order. From Admin->Manage->Pages I’ll edit a few pages and place values in the page order field and it doesn’t seem to have an effect on how they display? They don’t order via the page id, or alphabetically or by create date. Any ideas? We’re updated, v2.3.2

    thanks for the feedback, it was a small bug that was causing it, the bug is fixed and i re-uploaded the theme

    download the theme again and re-upload it, everything should be fine now :)

    Hi,

    Great theme, thanks. I’ve installed it to use in my blog but i have a very big problem using safari with it. The header isn’t see well (no blog title, no colour). Do you know what have i do to solve this?

    Great theme! I’m also having a slight problem with this theme on my blog. The search feature doesn’t return any results for any search term like it does in the live demo. I’m confused. I’m not using any additional plugins that would affect the search.

    Hi again!

    I don’t solve about the presentation in Safari, but I have two more problems (sorry for my english): This theme dosen’t have double space between lines in the post or diferent paragraphs?

    Nice theme, but i don’t know why don’t want to work in my page, btw i have php 5.x, and 1 more thing i create a new sidebar menu whit some advertise and in this menu i have a flash object, so when i try to close the menu all ads going off but the flash object is still up in sidebar.
    Thanks a lot for the theme, and I think that u will fix this bug.

    as i visited your URL everything seems to be working fine

    about the flash object: make sure it fits in the box and make sure you add a title to the box!

    Sorry for the delayed response- I really appreciate the quick fix- we’ve been traveling for the holidays and got slammed upon our return.

    One other question- is there any way to have the comment form automatically displayed, without the reader clicking on the Comment link?

    I can’t activate the Sexy Comments plugin, it says:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in D:\wamp\www\wp233\wp-content\plugins\sexy-comments\sexycomments.php on line 822

    i use Apache 2.2.6, PHP 5.2.5 + PECL, MySQL 5.0.45 but i can’t install the plugin Sexy Comments on my wordpress 2.3.3.

    I like this theme so much.

    I’m trying to use this theme with Wordpress 2.5, but it seems that the comments aren’t showing up at all. Any ideas as to why this would be happening?

    I thought I should’ve mentioned this but I did activate them both. If you go to the comments page you can see the links for sexycomments on it, showing that it is indeed active.

    I figured out what the problem was. I had to disable the default css in the SexyComments settings, and it’s now all working fine.
