What do you know? Stumbleupon is good for finding quality sites also, not just for finding *shitty* sites. I was doing a stumble exchange with a few DP members when i came across BrowserShots . Quick i closed all other mumbo-jumbo tabs and i started checking it out…at first i taught its some joke or something similar but after i submitted my blog to see some screenshots and after i checked back in 35 minutes i realized that its real and it’s working!

I hardy start up IE…IMO internet explorer 6 can’t be considered a browser because it sucks so hard. And from the previews i found out that my blog is distorted for IE 6 users. Why? Because of the youtube video that i embeded. I’l check out the source code tomorrow and i will see if i can fix the bug…if i can’t i will remove the video and just put a picture that will lead to the youtube video.

What is browsershots? (quote from official page) :

Browsershots makes screenshots of your web design in different browsers. It is a free open-source online service created by Johann C. Rocholl. When you submit your web address, it will be added to the job queue. A number of distributed computers will open your website in their browser. Then they will make screenshots and upload them to the central server here.

You can even download the Brosershots source code from sourceforge.

In my opinion the usage of BrowserShots or a similar service is a MUST for a webdesigner and/or a coder. It will save you lots and lots of extra work and negative feedback from your clients.
